Southam

5 minute read.

With the A423 Banbury to Coventry road running through its centre, Southam is a prosperous market town, expanding to its north and its south to take advantage of its convenient location close to the M40 and the Midlands motorway network, being just seven miles from Leamington and 10 miles from Rugby.

The town has proved popular with families who are enjoying the recent regeneration of the town centre to include Tithe Place, Southam’s Community Hub compliments the wealth of independent shops, cafés and pubs together with supermarkets which serve a growing population of some 6,500.

On the outskirts of the town, the 600 acre Dallas Burston Polo Club is an award winning events venue.

Situated close to the town centre, Southam College, with over 1600 pupils, was rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted in its last two inspections, making those homes in its catchment area highly sought after.

Southam acts as a hub to some of the local villages whose residents will pop in to use some of the facilities on a regular basis.
